    OMD selected for the Creative Strategy and Media jury at Cannes Lions 2021

    Cannes Lions has announced its jury members for this year’s Festival of Creativity with Chrissie Hanson, Global Chief Strategy Officer, OMD Worldwide and Kate Ivory, Head of Strategy, OMD EMEA selected to join the jury.

    Chrissie Hanson and Kate Ivory will be joining the Creative Strategy Lions and the Media Lions, respectively. They will be judging and awarding the world’s very best global creative work and benchmark excellence this festival.

    For the first time in the festival’s history, the jury compromises of 51% of female jurors. The juries will take part in remote judging and will be judging work from both 2020 and 2021.  The winning work will then be awarded during Cannes Lions Live, a digital experience running from 21-25 June 2021.

    Philip Thomas, LIONS Chairman, comments: “After pausing the awards last year, our juries will be awarding Lions across two years’ worth of work, which is an unprecedented opportunity to set the global creative benchmark for two years of outstanding creativity. The awards will be the heartbeat of Cannes Lions Live…We can’t wait to celebrate and immerse ourselves in Lion-winning creativity alongside our community in June.” 

    Update April 27, 2021: Cannes Lions has announced its jury line-up of global experts selected to shortlist world-class creative work and benchmark excellence this June. Jessica Roberts, Chief Client Officer, OMD EMEA has been selected to join the Media Lions jury representing the global industry’s leading talent from multiple disciplines.
