Today Newsweek announced its inaugural rankings for the Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces® list, and Grey Group was among the esteemed organizations selected.

What does it mean to be a Most Loved Workplace®? Great benefits and fair compensation influence employee engagement, but it takes much more: evidence shows culture has an even more significant impact on sentiment. Employees who feel included, recognized, and valued love their workplaces. And those who love their workplaces—dreamers, doers, innovators and leaders—enjoy a longer tenure and do their best work.

“At Grey, we aspire to cultivate an entrepreneurial and inclusive environment fuelled by generosity and creativity where our team genuinely loves contributing ideas that shape culture and enrich people’s lives. This honor by Newsweek in the Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces of 2023 reflects our commitment to helping our people grow, develop and consistently deliver famously effective ideas that move the world forward,” said Laura Maness, Grey Group Global CEO.

The recognition is further proof of Grey Group’s extraordinary momentum with Agency of the Year (and similar) honors on six continents, more than 60 Effies across the network—including five Grand Effies in major markets—and work that’s won global creative awards for some of the world’s most remarkable companies.

In addition to our impressive gender balance—women comprise more than 50 percent of global staff and nearly 40 percent of leadership roles—Newsweek recognized Grey Group’s social media leadership, highlighting “#5Things: This Week in Social,” an employee-produced podcast that provides weekly insights for marketers and recently won a 2023 Webby Award.

BPI surveyed more than 2 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 30 to more than 10,000. The list recognizes companies that put respect, caring, and appreciation for their employees at the center of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them.

Newsweek’s Global Editor in Chief Nancy Cooper remarked, “While workplace dynamics continue to evolve, the power of a positive culture remains constant. The companies featured on the 2023 Global Most Loved Workplaces® list embody this transformative spirit, proving that when companies prioritize their people, success naturally follows.”
