    BBDO Guerrero Clients Sweep Top Honors at 2023 PANAta Awards

    On September 22, PANAta 2023 Awards celebrated the industry’s legacy of excellence and effectiveness in Philippine advertising. BBDO Guerrero’s clients – Red Ribbon Bakeshop Inc., Mountain Dew, and Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) clinched some of the most coveted awards at the culminating night.

    Red Ribbon’s Give Love Today campaign won the Grand Panata of the Year and a Gold at the Brand Effectiveness through Effective Use of Marketing Channels (Integrated) category.

    Give Love Today was an integrated marketing communications campaign that encouraged consumers to show their appreciation for their loved ones despite the challenges and limitations brought by the Covid-19 pandemic through Red Ribbon cakes and pastries.

    Meanwhile, Mountain Dew’s Scrapboards also won a Gold at the Brand Effectiveness through Corporate Sustainability and Brand Trust category.

    Scrapboards was Mountain Dew and BBDO Guerrero’s initiative to help the Siargao Island after it was devasted by Super Typhoon Odette last December 2021. The work was best known for auctioning off five full-sized Scrapboards inspired by famous tourist spots in Siargao to help build community boats for the local’s livelihood.

    And lastly, BPI’s Project Sustain and Project Love also picked up Bronzes at the Brand Effectiveness through Corporate Sustainability and Brand Trust and Brand Effectiveness through Effective Use of Marketing Channels (Integrated) categories respectively. BPI Project Sustain’s ambassador, Bea Alonzo, also bagged the Favorite Brand Ambassador Award at the People’s Choice Awards.

    David Guerrero, Creative Chairman at BBDO Guerrero, said. “Congratulations to all our clients for their recent victories at the PANAta Awards. It’s a real honor to be recognized for the effectiveness of our work by the advertisers themselves.”

    Earlier this year, Mountain Dew’s Scrapboards also won a Bronze at the ADFEST Lotus Awards 2023 based in Thailand and a Silver at the 15th Kidlat Awards by the 4A’s Philippines. Meanwhile, Red Ribbon’s Give Love Today won a bronze at the Marketing Excellence Awards 2022.
