Grey is thrilled to welcome Elvis Li as President of Grey China. Elvis brings over two decades of creative firepower, having held senior roles, including General Manager at BBDO, JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi, BBH, and Wieden+Kennedy. He’s built brands across industries, from auto and FMCG to healthcare and food & beverage, and is known for turning bold ideas into bottom-line results.

Based in the agency’s Shanghai studio, Elvis will report to Chris Reitermann, WPP’s President, China, and collaborate closely with Sarah Trombetta, Grey’s APAC CEO, to accelerate the agency’s momentum in the region. He’ll also lead Easycom, Grey’s powerhouse social marketing agency in China, to unlock new growth and breakthrough ideas for clients.

“Born and raised in Shanghai, Elvis has deep roots in the market and a fierce entrepreneurial spirit that clients can trust,” said Sarah. “His creative ambition and modern leadership style are exactly what brands need to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.”

Chris added: “Elvis’ passion for blending tech, innovation and creativity makes him the perfect addition to Grey China and the broader WPP China leadership team. We’re excited to see where he takes us next.”

“I’m beyond excited to join Grey and WPP in China, home to some of the best creative talent around,” said Elvis. “Grey’s ‘Famously Effective’ mindset is a bold platform for brand-building, and I can’t wait to create culture-shaping work with our partners.”

Grey was recently named one of the Top 50 Best Employers in China’s Marketing & Advertising Industry 2024-2025 by China Advertising Network.
