{"id":18101,"date":"2023-09-06T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-06T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tomilli.com\/en\/the-luum-awards-supports-wwfs-amazon-initiative\/"},"modified":"2023-09-06T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2023-09-06T05:00:00","slug":"the-luum-awards-supports-wwfs-amazon-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tomilli.com\/en\/the-luum-awards-supports-wwfs-amazon-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"Luum Awards supports WWF\u2019s Amazon initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Four (4) professionals from the Luum Awards\u2019 communications and marketing team will travel to San Jos\u00e9 del Guaviare in mid-September to join the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for a series of workshops that it will be offering to the Guain\u00eda Amazonian community, which community resides in a strategic corridor for jaguar conservation.<\/p>\n<p>Within the framework of this training event, which will take place between September 20th and September 21st, the Luum team will be responsible for providing digital marketing and advertising workshops to entrepreneurs in the community.<\/p>\n<p>These advertising and digital strategy workshops are intended to empower small entrepreneurs in the Guain\u00eda community, many of whom have exchanged arms or deforestation practices for environmentally-sustainable businesses that boost economic activity in the region. The WWF wants to encourage the Guain\u00eda community to become protectors of the rainforest.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that Luum will reinvest what it planned to spend on printed material for the 2023 edition, on travel and logistics for more training events such as this one.
