On October 29, Wakii participated in a transformative experience that reminded participants of the value of empathy and respect for all forms of life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The elephants at the sanctuary have been rescued from the logging industry and trekking camps, where they were exploited for years. Now, they enjoy a safe space where they can heal, rest, and live peacefully.
