    WPP tops the Effective 100 List and takes the WARC 2023 triple

    • Wavemaker Mumbai ranks first for media agencies

    WPP today took the triple in the WARC (World Advertising Research Center) 100 Lists 2023 after being named the number one company in the WARC Effective 100. The latest recognition follows WPP ranking first in WARC’s Media 100 and Creative 100 lists.

    Ogilvy was named the number one agency network in the Effective 100, with EssenceMediacom, Grey Group, Mindshare Worldwide, VMLY&R, Wunderman Thompson and Wavemaker all coming in the top 20.

    WPP agencies took six of the top 10 slots in the media agency effectiveness ranking, with Wavemaker Mumbai topping the list while Mindshare New York, EssenceMediacom London, Mindshare Shanghai, EssenceMediacom New York and Mindshare Stockholm all featured. Wavemaker Mumbai also took second place for their campaign jointly delivered with Ogilvy Mumbai (#5 in the Effective 100 creative agency ranking) for Mondelēz’s Cadbury: Not Just A Cadbury Ad 2.0. The award-winning campaign used data, AI and dynamic creative optimisation to transform film icon Shah Rukh Khan into a brand ambassador for thousands of local businesses in India by creating personalised ads for over 100m viewers.
