Nearly one hundred trophies were presented on November 2, at the Hilton Hotel and Conference Centre in Geneva, Switzerland, as part of the third edition of the Luum Awards, the only global festival that rewards creative communications contributing to efforts to make the world better.
VMLY&R was named Network of the Year with 1 Titanium, 1 Grand Prix, 2 Gold and 6 Silver trophies won by its offices in Spain, New York, and Brazil with “Dogs Without Borders” and Zubi Advertising (USA) with “The Undercover Names”.
In a close second, came McCann with 3 Golds and 6 Silvers earned by its branches in Paris, Japan, Tel Aviv, Spain, Panama, Poland, and Brazil.
Dentsu Creative rounds out this list, thanks to the successful participation of its office in Argentina, which won 1 Grand Prix, 3 Golds and 1 Silver. Other networks with notable participation were Ogilvy, Wunderman Thompson, Edelman, Mindshare, DDB, Havas, Mullen Lowe, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett and Cheil.
The Advertiser of the Year was SFBO (FRENCH-BRAZILIAN SOCIETY OF ONCOLOGY), and the standout Independent Agency of the 2023 edition was Manifiesto from Spain, with one Gold and 4 Silver trophies obtained for the case “KICKIN’ RIGHTS CUP.” Other independent agencies with outstanding participation were Valor (Peru), MGC Global Group (Chile), X3M Ideas (Nigeria), Tribeca Media (Peru), Geelmuyden Kiese (Denmark), Shernan Creative Collective (Spain), The Amazing Society (Sweden), Rock and Roll (Bolivia), Artilligence (India), among others.
