Thomas Han Named Global CSO for WPP Ford Team

VMLY&R announced today that Thomas Han has joined the agency as global chief strategy officer on WPP’s Ford account, spanning marketing communications, experiences, technology and commerce. Han will serve as the strategic interface for WPP’s multi-agency team, working in close partnership with Jason Xenopoulos, global chief creative officer on the Ford business, and reporting to Andrea Grodberg, VMLY&R  global chief strategy officer.

An industry leader and hybrid strategist, Han has a varied background in consumer insight and experience, digital business transformation, performance marketing, and media distribution. He joins from BBDO, where he served as executive director of integrated strategy and global head of planning for AT&T, Meta and HBO Max across the agency’s New York, Dallas and LA offices. He also served as the consumer experience (CX) center of excellence lead for BBDO New York. Han’s passion is to bring seamless creative solutions at the intersection of technology, execution, and human insight, bringing meaning to people and value to brands.

Throughout his time at BBDO, Han also served on the board of directors for Omnicom’s Asian Leaders Circle, an open employees resource group dedicated to progressing, connecting, and giving voice to all Asian employees and allies.
