Every letter carries a message. Every message has the potential to create change.

Born from the belief that typography can be more than a tool for communication, Fight for Kindness 2026 celebrates the transformative power of letters to inspire connection, empathy, and social awareness. The fifth edition of the global initiative by TypeCampus, supported by Zetafonts Foundry, brings together a growing community of designers united by one shared goal: using creativity to nurture a kinder world.

What started as a call to reflect on kindness through typography has grown into a truly global creative movement. For its fifth edition, Fight for Kindness received over 1,000 typographic messages from 83 countries, written in 42 languages, proving how a shared desire for a more empathetic world can cross borders, cultures, and different visual traditions.

“A thousand posters is already an impressive number, but what truly moves me is imagining the journey behind each of them: hundreds of designers from every corner of the world who felt the desire to add their own voice to this collective message. Not only different languages and countries, but above all different cultures, have come together through this project to express a shared wish: to nurture a more empathetic and inclusive society,” says Debora Manetti, founder of the campaign, Program Director of TypeCampus, and co-founder of Zetafonts.

Through typographic and visual design, creativity becomes a tool to explore kindness in all its forms: toward the planet, humanity, others, and ourselves. The project celebrates the ability of letters and images to influence perception, shape conversations, and contribute to positive cultural change.

“At Zetafonts, we believe that letters have the power to persuade, connect, and transform. Supporting Fight for Kindness means using the very essence of our craft to build a culture based on empathy and human connection — perhaps one of the most meaningful purposes typography can serve,” adds Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini, Type Creative Director at Zetafonts.

The selected posters will also be included in the next annual book (it will released and distributed early in 2027), and showcased through a growing network of international exhibitions, from Ecuador to all around Europe, Indonesia, and the EMEA area to promote and celebrate the next World Kindness Day (November 13th).

The initiative is made possible thanks to the support of an international network of partners and institutions, who help amplify the project by sharing the open call and hosting exhibitions around the world.

More than a collection of posters, Fight for Kindness 2026 represents a global conversation about the role of creativity in society — a reminder that designers, across cultures and continents, can use their skills to imagine and promote a more empathetic future.
