Apple’s Latest Global Campaign ‘Flock’ Highlights iPhone Privacy Features with Spy Thriller Film and Disruptive Ads

In their latest global campaign for Apple, privacy features on iPhone fend off bird-like surveillance cameras in their hero film, “Flock,” exposing the online surveillance economy.  Disruptive ads appear to highjack browsers, bringing this crucial message directly to people as they scroll through the internet.

For “Flock,” they collaborated with House of Parliament and Legacy Effects — the team behind Baby Yoda and Groot — to create bespoke 3D-printed bird models used on set. Directed by Ivan Zacharias and edited by Academy Award-winner Mikkel E. G. Nielsen, this spy-like thriller portrays the story of online data surveillance with a gripping, nightmarish crescendo.
