1. What is the story behind Giraffe?
Founded by Fadi Hus, a creative individual that left his country (Lebanon) at the age of 21 and followed an opportunity all the way to Zambia (Southern Africa). Giraffe Creatives had humble beginnings, started in 2014 as a one-man band and grew up to a team of over 25 creative individuals today. With quality being the core value of the company, Giraffe managed to get international recognition with clients such as Netflix in its portfolio, and national awards through outstanding marketing campaign, and through delivering high quality marketing services to clients in Zambia and neighbouring countries. Today Giraffe is a brand that is known to be reliable, trustworthy and loyal.

2. What is more difficult: to be born and grow, or to sustain yourself in a market as competitive as
creative?
Sustaining the business is definitely harder. The reality is that Zambia’s advertising and marketing industry is still fairly primitive and this steams into people’s overall view of the industry thus making it hard to sustain and grow the business while maintaining the standard of the services provided.

3. Giraffe recently joined the Constellation network, what does this mean for the agency?
Joining Constellation Network is our first step to growing beyond Zambia and Africa, it’s an opportunity to grow our reach, our team knowledge, expose our work to the world and learn from the experience of other agencies within the network.

7. What plans do you have for 2022?
This year Giraffe Creatives is expanding, we want to grow beyond being a traditional agency, and to introduce innovative ways of marketing to Zambia, we want to inspire others to think big and believe that big ideas can be executed in Zambia. In 2022, Giraffe Creatives will become Inspired Creative Solutions a company that solve problems through creative solutions.
