The future of manicures is no longer polish—it’s technology. Here’s how nails can change color in seconds.

The beauty tech innovation unveiled at CES 2026

Technology continues to reshape the beauty industry. At the Consumer Electronics Show 2026 (CES), startup iPolish introduced a set of digital press-on nails capable of changing color in seconds באמצעות a mobile app—opening up a new category within the growing beauty tech space.

These smart nails allow users to choose from over 400 shades and switch between them instantly, depending on their outfit, mood, or occasion. The system uses electrophoretic nanopolymers that enable color changes without the need for traditional nail polish. Everything is controlled through an app connected via Bluetooth to a device called the “Magic Wand,” which activates the color transformation on each nail.

Unlike a conventional manicure, the selected color does not require continuous power to remain stable. Once applied, it stays fixed until the user decides to change it again. Additionally, the nails are waterproof and designed to last approximately two weeks, aligning with the natural nail growth cycle.

Beyond the technological breakthrough, this innovation highlights a key trend: real-time personalization in the beauty industry. With solutions like these digital nails, makeup begins to behave more like a tech device—where style can be updated as easily as changing a smartphone wallpaper.
