Metaverse Lab: VMLY&R COMMERCE | Geometry Colombia's commitment to technology and innovation

A space to explore and build innovative and disruptive proposals; the objective is to allow brands and users to interact in immersive virtual reality environments. The Metaverse Lab has the most recent technology and, although the equipment and systems are fairly new, it is expected that, by 2024, the number of mobile augmented reality users worldwide will reach 1.7 billion, as shown by REYDAR study.

For this reason, the agency saw the need to experiment and propose business opportunities in a space where everything is possible. The lab has the necessary equipment to investigate and create, it even has a specialized equipment that allows immersion in 4D; the KAT VR 2, making the experience more realistic.

The business opportunities offered by this technology cover sectors as close to consumers as Gaming, to even mixed reality interactions with hybrid events; the possibilities are endless. This project is focused on COMMERCE, co-creation, launches, social space interactions, meetings, education, conferences and even product demos. Currently, the agency is building its platform of services in the metaverse with demos that allow its clients to understand how this technology works and the multiple possibilities it offers.

A relevant case is Colgate, where they have worked on the simulation of a chain store. An advanced virtual reality experience, where users can visualize the products and the space with a level of detail similar to reality. Likewise, VMLY&R COMMERCE | Geometry is structuring a project that involves educational spaces in the Metaverse with a great reference of technology in Latin America; at the same time, it develops the Metaverse Contest, where its internal public has immersion experiences with this new technology, generating knowledge of the subject and spaces for the co-creation of new ideas in COMMERCE.
