It´s time! The International Festival of Living Arts is coming to Ecuador

In the south of Ecuador, a magical corner awaits where art, culture, and color merge to arouse the most fascinating expressions, this paradise is Loja, «Cultural Capital of Ecuador».

In this city, there is a local saying that goes: “In Loja, whoever does not play the guitar can sing a song, whoever does not sing a song can write a verse, and whoever does not write a verse can be read in a book.”

If you are also an arts lover, you should enjoy the VII edition of the International Festival of Living Arts Loja 2022 «FIAVL 2022», taking place from November 17 to 27. Get ready to experience a true cultural festival!

For 11 days, more than 16,500 artists from countries such as Ecuador, France, Spain, Germany, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Turkey, China and the United States will take over the city theaters, squares and public spaces.

To access more than 100 activities and 40 plays for free, download your digital ticket, starting October 30 at  www.festivaldeloja.com  Here you can also find information about the entire festival schedule.

In addition to the talent abundance, in Loja you will also find countless activities and tourist attractions to discover such as the Historic Center, churches, museums, heritage streets and its enigmatic high-altitude coffee with denomination of origin.

Within a few minutes, you will make a deep cultural connection with the Saraguro people, known as one of the purest ethnic groups in South America. You will also find the magical Vilcabamba Valley, inhabited by people who in many cases are over 100 years old, or witness a unique natural spectacle in the world: the flowering of the Guayacanes. In Loja, we welcome you to live a festival of talent, emotions, and tourism.
