18-Year Veteran Will Be Charged with Creating Interdependence Among Edelman’s Integrated Solutions and Delivery Offerings.
Edelman has appointed Tristan Roy as President of Integrated Solutions & Delivery, effective immediately. Roy, who currently serves as Global Chair of Edelman Digital and Chief Operating Officer of Edelman Solutions, will now oversee the integration of Edelman Solutions and Delivery teams to deliver and enhance new and existing agency offerings. He will report to Matthew Harrington, Global President and Chief Operating Officer of Edelman.
In this role, Roy will work with Edelman’s Solutions Teams to develop new client services, products, offerings, and delivery models to ensure a more cohesive and efficient approach to servicing Edelman’s largest clients. Those reporting to him will include the Global Chair of AI, President of DxI, Global Head of Project Management, Global Head of Resource Management, Deputy Global Chair of Digital and the Global Chief Production Officer.
“Tristan is the right leader to drive this critical integration of Solutions and Delivery,” said Harrington. “His deep understanding of our clients, our industry, and the evolving needs of the marketplace positions him uniquely to establish interdependence between data and insights, content and production, and measurement and AI throughout the firm. This integration will enable us to deliver a more efficient way of working and a more cohesive offering for our clients.”
An 18-year veteran of Edelman, Roy has held a variety of leadership roles across the firm, including Global Chief Operating Officer of Edelman Digital, Managing Director of Digital for Canada and Latin America and Managing Director of Digital and National Specialties. Roy has directed and oversees Edelman’s global product, enterprise data and artificial intelligence teams, led by Brian Buchwald, who are helping drive transformation and new offerings, products and solutions for the firm and clients. This includes Trust Stream, which applies Edelman’s proprietary trust LLM, ArchieAI to identify, score, summarize and explain the articles and content impacting trust with precision and predictability. ArchieAI is trained on trust with the world’s only Trust Data Lake comprised of 20 years of Edelman’s Trust Barometer research and augmented with 3 million new pieces of brand content daily.
Roy also architected the formation of Edelman’s global production and studios capability and team, appointing Pat Sidoti as Global Chief Production Officer earlier this year. He has directed key strategic investments to scale the firm’s production capability, including the welcoming of award-winning generative producer, Gabe Michael as VP, Executive Producer of AI and the investment in five state-of-the-art studio builds and production stages in its Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Mumbai and Bogotá offices. Equipped to chase the sun, the studios are geographically optimized for expedited asset delivery and creatively optimized for culturally resonant and locally relevant content. The offering has reported 6 percent growth year over year.
“Our clients increasingly need data-driven, global and multi-local operating models that deliver scale, agility and impact,” said Roy. “In an information environment where media and culture have become synonymous and, as a result, attention and relevance can’t simply be bought, it is deeply exciting to be able accelerate and activate Edelman’s unique capability and solutions for our clients.”
Roy’s appointment reflects Edelman’s continued commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions for clients and to driving the integration and innovation agendas for the communications industry. Roy is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Chief Digital Officers Community. He is a graduate of Davidson College.
