VMLY&R COMMERCE announces the addition of Sergio Leon to the North America creative leadership team as SVP, Creative Director of Content & Experience. In this new role, Sergio will be responsible for evolving the agency’s creative commerce product for existing clients, with a specific focus on Experiential and Content Strategy.
Sergio joins the agency from BBDO Colombia, where he served as Chief Experience Officer. Under his leadership, BBDO was named Colombia’s most creative agency for the first time in 2020. Prior to this, he held roles at JWT/Glue and Mullen Lowe London delivering for clients such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Netflix and Mastercard. His work has been recognized with countless awards including a D&AD Black Pencil of the decade and Cannes Lions Titanium, two of the most coveted awards in the industry.
