Independent agencies shinned at the 2023 Luum Awards, taking home a significant number of the 101 total trophies awarded and ranking well globally.

Other standout independent agencies included Boomerang | Morocco (31), DEPT | The Netherlands (32), 1947 | Bolivia (33), Rise | The Netherlands (36) and the Lounge Group | Hungry (37).

In terms of networks, McCann came in at an impressive second place, thanks to outstanding participation by its offices in Paris, Spain, Tel Aviv, Poland, Japan, Panama, and Brazil. And, in third place is Dentsu, thanks to participation by its offices in Argentina with the “Scrolling Therapy” case.

It is worth noting that a select group of judges, including professionals from the world’s most influential NGOs, advertising, and creative agencies, were the ones who voted for the best social and environmental creative pieces of the year. Then, a group of 5 judges were chosen at random to vote for the Titanium and Grand Prix awards on November 2 at the Hilton Geneva Hotel & Conference Centre.

Independent and Network agencies from across the five continents participated in this third successful edition of the festival, with notable participation by agencies from the United States, Brazil, Israel, France, Nigeria, Denmark, United Kingdom, Chile, Japan, Peru, Indonesia, India, Spain, Bolivia, The Netherlands, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
